Visit to Colorado - My moms memorial

Thursday I flew out to Colorado Springs to go to my moms memorial. When my step dad Joe died a few years ago, they bought niches under the flagpole so they could be next to each other when the time came. My sister in law Linda made this beautiful memory picture board that had pictures of my mom from a child to being a grandma. It was neat to see how much my oldest niece Hillary resembles her. The service was nice. My mom wanted Jamison to sing "Jesus Loves Me" and since she could not be there, Paul taped her singing the song and we played it during her service. I cried like I expected too but also felt an overwhelming peace knowing she is in Heaven with Jesus. She knows how much I love her and how much she will be missed. This is her place under the flagpole with beautiful flowers all around right next to Joe.
I took some random pictures of the flowers around the place. Its beautiful there. My mom loved to garden, have lots of flowers and birds...oooh my mom loved the birds. When she lived in Colorado she probably spent an hour a day preparing food and filling all the feeders in her yard. Her backyard birds were spoiled. Howie, Jerry and Me (My older brothers)
Kimmy, Brit, Brea and Riley (nieces and nephews)
My great nephew Ethan
Jeremy
Ryan and Hillary (Ethan's mommy) Melanie playing the piano OH so beautifully!
Kelly (Joe's niece), Linda (Jerry's wife) and Mary (Joe's sister in law)
Brit and Brea..they are twins. I cant tell them apart unless I am with them. One is a talker and the other is quite shy :) It was so fun to get to know them better and hang out with them for the weekend. I hadn't seem them in 4 years.
Jerry took me to Hobby Lobby before I left since we don't have those here in California. I LOVE THAT STORE!
