Snow Day!!

Saturday we headed up to Pinecrest for a day in the snow. The kids had never been and my bff Melissa and her family were there for the weekend. We got to the cabin, got our snow clothes on and headed out to find the perfect sledding spot. We found a nice, clear spot off the side of the road near Dodge Ridge. The guys made a few tweaks to the trail and off we went! Nick ready to tackle the trail Paul and Jamison jamming down the hill....This might be the best pic of the day!

Melissa, Me and Tiffany Me, Melissa and the kids made a SnowLady. I brought a carrot from home for her nose. My Cutie The snow was pretty packed, but we HAD to try and make some snow angels. Here is Aaliyah making hers. And Jamison making hers Melissa heading down the trail John, Shohn and Lee having a turn

Paul coming down....OUCH!

Jamison was in love with the snow and the sledding. She went down more times than anyone I think. She even dragged the sled back up to the top several times just to convince someone to sled down with her. Eventually she talked me into letting her go by herself and slowly crept higher and higher up the trail. She also figured out that by laying down flat she would go faster. The video at the top is of her going down by herself...at a rapid speed!Jamison coming down all by herself.

Uncle PJ John and Melissa had their dog Deboe with them, even with a bum leg he has got some hops!
JJ coming down!!! I think was the bravest of the day, making huge jumps to fly over!
This is pretty much how Jack spent his day, sitting down eating goldfish. He was NOT a fan of the snow gear or even standing in the snow, so THANK YOU to everyone who took a turn or two entertaining him.
This is about as close to the snow as he got LOL!

Shohn taking the trail by himself!!
And super brave 2 year old Lee Lee followed right behind.
After sledding we headed back to the cabin for some yummy spaghetti and garlic bread and some little snowman cake balls.
The weather was beautiful! We had such a great day with friends and family and NO injuries! We will be making this a new Pellizzari tradition.
