So in starting a new tradtion for our family we decided to head up to West Point and cut down our tree this year. I am a Home Depot kind of gal....I wasnt too sure about heading out in the cold and mud with two little kids to fetch a tree, but it turned out to be a lot of fun. We went with about 10 people from church so we had some help with the kids when we wanted to go off course to peek at a tree we liked. The weather was beautiful and it wasnt too muddy!!
Little did we know Jack had Rosella. Poor dude just wanted to be carried around all day.

After much tromping around (2 hours later) Paul and I finally decided on a tree
She was a bit sparce after we cut her down!!
But we loaded her up.....
Brought her home....
She only needed one string of lights and we had to later tie the star on the top since her top branch was so thin! She was truly our Charlie Brown tree and everyday she dropped TONS of needles! 
Jack didnt like the tinsle!
