Then we have Diesel...AKA Weeds....who at 2 1/2 yrs old lost a few of his nine lives. The most recent was him getting hit by a car.
Since living in Manteca and having a HUGE backyard we seem to constantly have visitors. First is our adopted cat that lives RIGHT outside the back door at all times (he wants to be fed anytime you step out the door) who is not fixed.....his name is Nutty...for those of you who have met him...YOU know why he is called that and those of you who have not.....use your imagination since he is NOT fixed HAH!
Then while working at a rental house...Paul finds a dog. It was a cute dog....looked part German Shepard and was young. He brought her home and after a few days of looking LUCKILY for me, Paul found her home. Her name was Princess.
Most recently we have noticed a few kittens running around late at night outside. A few months ago a white kitten made his way into the office.....freaked out and RAN as fast as he could RIGHT back outside. The other night this TINY black kitten no more than 3-4 weeks old shows up. First night just meowing like crazy and when approached he would run away. The next night Paul was able to entice him with some turkey. Next thing I know....I have a kitten on a heating pad, wrapped in a towel sipping milk on the couch. Unfortunately he came to us too late. After a night of warmth and food he passed away on our couch. Paul named him Crunchy.
I think God sends animals to Paul knowing he will either help them or in his perfect world ADOPT them. I think we should have made a list of them all. Bones, Tyrone, Koo, Zog, Fritz, NeNe....and I know there are many more to add.
